Brian K. Suchoff graduated the George Washington University in 1981 with a BA in Economics. Brian went on to attend Brooklyn Law School and graduated in 1988. He was admitted in 1988 to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey.
Brian K. Suchoff started his legal career working for the firm of ROSS, SUCHOFF, TAROFF, EGERT & HANKIN, P.C. a firm founded by his father Martin L. Suchoff. Mr. Suchoff started working there in 1985 when he started law school. Immediately he started working on automobile property damage claims for self insured taxis. Over the years he developed some insurance carrier clients and started to handle subrogation claims on their behalf. Over the years the subrogation practice grew to the point where Mr. Suchoff decided that in order to properly service his clients and process the claims being assigned to him he would be better off in his own practice.
On July 17, 2002 he left his 5 partners and started his own firm ROSS & SUCHOFF, LLC. The firm does one thing and one thing only that being subrogation on behalf of insurance carriers.
Duties: Brian reviews every file that is assigned to the firm prior to the claim being processed. After the review Brian makes the determination to file suit, try to settle or whatever other steps need to be taken in order to make recovery as efficient as possible. Brian negotiates and settles claims, oversees the entire staff and handles the files as they work there wat from inception to completion.
ANDI GLASER-WURTZEL

Duties: Andi drafts all the complex pleadings including complaints, motions and response to discovery. In addition she drafts all necessary complex motions needed to move cases from inception to completion. Finally any legal research that needs to be done in the office is handled by Andi.
ROCHELLE SUCHOFF
INVESTIGATOR & NEGOTIATOR
YEARS AT FIRM - 15
Duties: Rochelle (Shelly) is a talented negotiator and researcher. Shelly has a knack for finding adverse party insurance carriers. That is followed up with contacting the adjuster and in many cases resolving the matter. Shelly also reviews all the new files to make sure we have all the evidence we need to proceed properly. If things are missing she will correspond with the client and/or the insured to obtain what is needed to improve our chances of collecting on assigned claims.
LESLIE ROTEM
BOOKKEEPER
YEARS AT FIRM - 10
Duties: Leslie handles the financial books and records for the firm including the writing of checks for court costs and expenses, deposits the settlement checks and disburses to the clients and manages all the Defendant’s making monthly payment which is in excess of 750. Additionally, she is handling the billing for the court costs and disbursements and making sure those bills are getting paid.
JEANETTE RANDOLPH
PARALEGAL
YEARS AT FIRM - 25
Duties: Jeanette knows everything there is to know about New York subrogation. She can handle every aspect of claim from start to finish. Her main duties are to over see the other paralegals to make sure they are performing their duties properly. Jeanette does all the judgement work as well as the skip tracing to help find Defendant’s for service. Finally, with her extensive knowledge of the New York court system Jeanette is the office expert on where and how papers have to be filed in all the various courts.
HANADI VARGAS
PARALEGAL
YEARS AT FIRM - 1
Duties: Hanadi probably has the most important job in the office. After the file is reviewed by Mr. Suchoff it is given to Hanadi to input all the claim information into the case management software and produce the claim letters, Summons and Complaint and bills. In addition, Hanadi is in charge of license revocations for all the judgments we obtain against uninsured and non responsive Defendants.
ALYSSA CHAMPI
PARALEGAL
YEARS AT FIRM - 7
Duties: Alyssa has three main jobs in the office make sure the Summons and Complaints get filed and served; make sure that the Defendant’s answer the complaint once it is served; and if we don’t receive an answer send a default notice to the defendant and prepare the necessary paper work so we can enter a default judgment against the Defendant.
CHERYL HAGUE
SECRETARY
YEARS AT FIRM - 6
Duties: Cheryl is in charge of the phones and the front desk. Every call gets answered by a person and never a machine unless it is after hours. She also does the filing, pulls the mail and settlement checks and is available to help if anyone in the office finds it necessary for what they are working on.
